Collegeville Italian Bakery to Hold First Family Style Italian Dinner

Reservations are now being taken for the Feb. 9 dinner.

The Collegeville Italian Bakery owners are making the most of the eatery's recent dining area expansion by holding their Family Style Italian Dinner on Feb. 9 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

For $29.99 per person, guests will be served an antipasta platter, Italian wedding soup, caesar salad, penne a la rose, chicken cutlets, sautéed spinach, roasted potatoes, and a slice of Italian rum cake or ricotta cannoli for dessert.

Coffee, tea, soda and table bread is included in the price. Guests are permitted to bring their own alcoholic beverages.

The restaurant is now accepting reservations for the dinner.  Call 610-489-3354 to reserve a table.

Co-owner Steve Carcarey said that the restaurant plans to do family-style dinners on a regular basis at the restaurant that features some highlights from the catering menu, and more.

Have no desire to attend this meal, even though its a nice idea. Collegeville bakery has made great strides, but still lacking with its hoagies, and other Italian food.

This is a nice idea! I work nearby & we order lunch at least weekly & none of us have ever been disappointed. Their hoagies are great, the fresh roast beef on Fridays is phenomenal, and their breads are awesome. The tomato pie is something my children ask for frequently. Kim

@ A.S. Really??? Why don't you put you're name behind that comment if you feel that strongly? People have nothing else better to do with their time then go online and bash good businesses owned by great people. Collegeville Italian Bakery has been family owned and operated for 19 years and will always have thee BEST hoagies around! Nothing but fresh meat, cheeses and bread baked right on the property every day. Their menu is always evolving and they're constantly thinking of new and creative ways to satisfy their customers appetites with delicious sandwiches yet still staying true to their ITALIAN heritage. Lacking in Italian food??? These people are first generation Italian-Americans. You must have them confused with the people across the street who aren't even Italian. Steve and Patrizia work tirelessly to make sure their store is stocked with the best selection of Italian delicacies and specialties. Go take your negativity somewhere else. Everyone knows how wonderful Collegeville Italian Bakery is and will never let someone like you give it a bad name. Keep up the great work, Collegeville Bakery! Support local small businesses! My favorite place to eat hands down.

Well stated. The best sandwiches in the area by far, and the people are great!

We have been blessed to have such a caring and loving family run the Collegeville Italian Bakery. It is refressing in todays cut-throat world to know that people still care for their customers. You are treated like family from the moment you enter the Bakery. My family had a similar type store in South Phila. many years ago and I thought that beautiful family atmosphere disappeared. It hasn't. People who truly understand 'Good Food" know you are getting the best. The whole family, and adopted family are truly great. You know that all care about each customer. The work-ethic of all is truly amazing and unique. I know that their hard work and always trying new methods of serving others will pay off. I know God will always be there for the whole family and I hope we continue to support their hard work.

God Bless,

Rich Coletta Sr.
